About
Ricardo works in civil litigation and in domestic and international arbitration. He also has broad experience in preventive and advisory corporate law, with emphasis on the legal structuring of businesses and projects. He holds a PhD and a Master of Laws in International Law from the University of São Paulo, a Bachelor of Laws from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from UNESA.
He serves as an arbitrator and is listed on the panels of the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce Arbitration and Mediation Center (CAM-CCBC), the Brazilian Center for Mediation and Arbitration (CBMA), the Business Mediation and Arbitration Chamber – Brazil (CAMARB), the Arbitral Council of the State of São Paulo (CAESP), and the ACIF Mediation and Arbitration Chamber – Florianópolis Commercial and Industrial Association (CMAA).
He is a member of the Instituto dos Advogados de São Paulo (IASP), the Asociación Americana de Derecho Internacional Privado (ASADIP), and the International Law Association (ILA – Brazil Branch). In the latter, he serves as Brazil’s representative on the Committee on Conflict of Laws Issues in International Arbitration
