Lefosse has best year ever and announces new branding strategies
For Lefosse – one of the largest law firms in Brazil – 2021 was the best year since the company began. The firm’s cases increased by 56% across its 20 practices and hit a record BRL 100 billion in M&A transactions. These landmark events were celebrated at an internal event Friday (12/17) when the firm announced a new branding project.
The numbers are exceptional: Lefosse topped the main rankings for merger and acquisition, IPO operations and follow-on (over BRL 55,8 billion in transactions) and private equity investments (BRL 15,4 billion), according to Transactional Track Record (TTR).
Another highlight was the leadership role the firm took in its clients’ ESG agenda, supporting the design and implementation of internal policies as well as the increase in operations involving sustainable assets (linked bonds).
The new brand comes as an important element of the firm’s positioning strategy. According to managing partner Rodrigo Junqueira, the branding project reflects the firm’s evolution and consolidation in recent years.
“The new brand brings meanings such as creativity, sophistication and innovation – values that guide our relationships. It follows this movement and goes further: it is the representation of our work as a partner who is dynamic, close and connected to diversity and transformation”, he said.
The visual design idea, which comes with a new website, blends modernity and elegance to maintain a dialogue with the clients and the firm’s other strategic audiences.
“It is a special work as it reflects Lefosse’s personality. The challenge was to bring out the firm’s DNA, which maintains our professionals so in line with each other and on the same page, and expressing it precisely into a brand concept”, explained Silvia Eyng, Lefosse’s managing director.
This year, the firm increased its number of legal practices to 20 and expanded its partners, lawyers and administrative staff by 35% after hiring more than 200 professionals. This growth was supported by a new structure in the Business Services department and by an innovative organizational culture design.
