Lefosse announces new partners and expands Restructuring and Insolvency and Dispute Resolution practices

Felipe Camara and Julio Neves come to reinforce the law firm’s multidisciplinary full-service work and strategy

Lefosse, one of the largest law firms in Brazil, announces two new partners: Felipe Camara comes to reinforce the Restructuring and Insolvency practice and Julio Neves joins the Dispute Resolution area, bringing a team of six professionals. The expansion aligns to the firm’s full-service and multidisciplinary work.

“In an increasingly dynamic market, companies demand highly interdisciplinary and detailed work. Therefore, the arrivals of Felipe and Julio at Lefosse are part of the strategy of our offer of tailor-made solutions for our clients”, comments Rodrigo Junqueira, Lefosse’s managing partner.

On the Restructuring and Insolvency practice, Camara’s entry focuses on representing clients in renegotiations and transactions, especially mergers and acquisitions, in distressed environments, in addition to extrajudicial and judicial restructurings.

On the Dispute Resolution side, Neves and his team expand Lefosse’s litigation support throughout the corporate lifecycle, from the creation of activities (risk mapping for investment modeling) and conducting business disputes, to the strategic planning of divestments.

The rise in business involving companies in crisis is a strategic investment opportunity and, at the same time, offers liquidity and alternatives for exiting judicial recovery. “It is in this context that I join Lefosse, a law firm with recognized work in innovative and complex transactions, to contribute with personalized work to clients”, emphasizes Felipe Camara.

“The litigation practice takes care of important business risks and challenges, working interdisciplinary with all practices of the law firm. I am very motivated to join my expertise to that of the Lefosse team”, says Julio Neves.

With the entries of Camara, Neves and team, Lefosse now has 49 partners and more than 450 professionals in the legal body, in a total of 630 people, adding up to the administrative structure (Business Services).
