Fábio Perez
Fábio Perez is a counsel in Banking and Finance practice at Lefosse.
He is specializes in banking law, finance, payment methods and capital markets (debt capital markets), working for over 10 years in highly complex cases in these areas. He has extensive experience and expertise in cases related to regulatory issues concerning regulations of the National Monetary Council, the Central Bank of Brazil, and the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission, evaluating regulatory obligations, restrictions and opportunities applicable to financial institutions, payment institutions, foreign exchange and international capital regulation, derivatives transactions, Basel Ratio, and capital requirements, operational authorization procedures, change of control, and corporate reorganization of regulated institutions, among others. Fábio also helped in the communication of clients with regulators, being an expert in major cross-border and national banking transactions, bilateral and syndicated loans, trade finance, project finance, intercompany loans, corporate debt restructuring, financial products for agribusiness, BNDES financial products in general, private placement of bonds and securities or public distribution in the local and foreign capital markets.
Fábio completed his Bachelor’s degree in Law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP). He also completed his LL.M. in Financial and Capital Markets Law from INSPER.
