With more than ten years of experience in corporate litigation, the lawyer strengthens the practice with work in corporate litigation and strategic disputes across sectors such as energy, infrastructure, mining and technology
Full-service law firm Lefosse announces the promotion of Isis Teixeira to partner in its Dispute Resolution practice, an area that has been gaining increasing prominence in the firm’s strategy. The move reinforces Lefosse’s investment in consolidating its expertise in strategic litigation and follows the arrival of Tomaz Lyra and Marcela Levy as partners in March, as well as Ricardo Almeida as counsel.
With more than ten years of experience, Isis handles complex litigation involving limited liability companies and corporations, contractual disputes, and nationwide public civil actions. She advises companies across a range of sectors – particularly energy, infrastructure, mining, and technology – at all stages of litigation, from prevention through post-litigation, representing clients in both arbitration and court proceedings.
“Isis’s career at Lefosse reflects exactly the kind of work we want to consolidate within our Dispute Resolution practice: strong technical expertise, strategic insight, and close client relationships in highly complex cases. Her promotion is a natural recognition of this work and reinforces our commitment to developing talent internally as we expand our presence in corporate litigation and arbitration,” says Rodrigo Junqueira, managing partner at Lefosse.
“Litigation management is a fundamental part of any business. Lefosse’s team brings together the leading professionals in the practice, whose complementary experience, when combined, reinforces excellence in client service. Contributing to this team has always been rewarding to me,” says Isis Teixeira.
Litigation is a practice that, in Brazil, tends to remain consistently active: the country has a strong culture of litigation, and business disputes continue to arise across different economic cycles. Demand remains steady both during periods of growth, when transaction volumes are higher, and in more challenging times – a scenario that reinforces the strategic importance of expanding leadership within the practice.
