Lefosse, one of Brazil’s leading full-service law firms, has announced three new partners: Carla Rossi, in the Banking and Finance practice, Luiz Santos, in the Tax practice, and Paulo Peressin, in the Labor practice. The lawyers were promoted on this date and, as a result, will join the firm as partners as of May 2.

In the last three years, Lefosse has increased its number of partners by 50% from 46 to 69. The firm strengthened the legal teams in its 23 practices with an emphasis on strategic and specialized sectors. Today, it has more than 600 professionals divided between offices in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Brasília.

“Our firm has been growing exponentially with the entrepreneurial approach of our professionals, which is our hallmark. We will continue to focus on retaining close and long-lasting, trusting partnerships with our clients. I am sure that our new partners will continue to contribute by delivering multidisciplinary solutions of excellence in the most diverse segments,” said Lefosse’s managing partner, Rodrigo Junqueira.

Meet our new partners:

Carla Rossi, a partner in the Banking and Finance practice, has experience in local and cross-border financial transactions and banking law. Her portfolio includes several of the most notable corporate and project finance transactions of the last decade. She has a law degree from PUC-SP (Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo), a postgraduate degree from FGV-SP (Fundação Getulio Vargas) with an emphasis on Infrastructure Projects and an LL.M. from King’s College London, specializing in International Financial Law.

He coordinates audits on mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings and capital market operations, with a focus on labor issues. He holds a law degree from PUC-Campinas (Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas) and a master’s degree in labor law from PUC-SP (Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo).
