Lefosse announces the arrival of two partners and expands its Competition and Antitrust practice

Lefosse, a full-service law firm, introduces this Monday (10) two new partners in the Competition and Antitrust practice: Paola Pugliese and Milena Mundim, besides counsel Fernanda Harari Dayan. They have arrived to expand the antitrust area and the advisory services to multinationals and client operations with different countries.

Previously at Lefosse, Paola has over 20 years of experience in submitting large national and global transactions for antitrust approval, as well as having acted in landmark cartel cases and in complex anticompetitive conduct investigations. She has acted in the representation of cases in various sectors of the economy, including aviation, financial market, packaging, petrochemicals, mining, and the pharmaceutical industry, among others. The new partner holds a Master’s degree in Competition Law from the Albert Ludwigs Universität Freiburg, Germany, and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the Universidade de São Paulo (USP).

“I return to Lefosse excited to work with professionals with an entrepreneurial profile and working very closely with clients on a high-quality transactional platform,” comments Paola.

Specialized in representing multinational companies from the most diverse sectors, Milena has worked in the competition and antitrust teams of international law firms, besides Lefosse, and as an advisor at the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE). She has an LLM in Competition Law from Queen Mary University of London, UK, and a graduate degree in Business Law from the Centro de Atualização em Direito, in Belo Horizonte.

“I am excited to be back at Lefosse, betting on the synergy between my experience and this prestigious platform,” Milena points out.

Fernanda has specialized in competition law and has been working in the area for over 10 years, with relevant international professional and academic experience. Fernanda Harari Dayan holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP), an LL.M. from the University of Pennsylvania, USA, and a certificate in Business and Law from The Wharton School.

“Our firm is growing rapidly, an expansion in line with our strategy of full-service legal excellence. And the arrival of Paola, Milena and Fernanda, all with deep knowledge and experience in competition law, will certainly contribute to our commitment of delivering complete, customized and innovative solutions to our clients”, concludes Rodrigo Junqueira, Lefosse’s managing partner.

Lefosse’s Competition and Antitrust practice is recognized for its market excellence in structuring hundreds of M&A transactions before CADE and other authorities, including some of the most complex transactions ever analyzed. Another highlight is the defense of clients’ interests in complex investigations and litigation.
