Brazil launches new law for clinical research with human beings
After almost 10 years of deliberation, on May 28, 2024, Law No. 14,874/2024 was sanctioned. The legislation creates rules for research with human subjects in Brazil and brings important news that impacts everyone involved in the clinical research ecosystem. Our partners from the Life Sciences and Healthcare practice, Maira Materagia Imperatriz and Rubens Granja, along with our lawyer Amanda Sampaio, had an article on the new legislation published in the Recht & Steuern newsletter by the Deutsch-Brasilianische Industrie- und Handelskammer.
