Lefosse, one of Brazil\u2019s leading full-service law firms, has just announced the expansion of its Investment Funds practice with the arrival of new partner Felipe Paiva. The firm aims to expand its position as a strategic partner for local and foreign fund managers, fund administrators, investment banks, and institutional investors.<\/p>\n

The new partner specializes in advising financial institutions, asset managers, fund administrators, and other types of sponsors in structuring investment funds, including equity funds (FIPs), credit rights funds (FIDCs), real estate funds (FIIs) and agro-industrial funds (FIAGROs). Felipe also handles the negotiation of complex legal instruments with respect to setting up fund structures, as well as provides regulatory advice in the incorporation and accreditation of fund managers with the CVM and ANBIMA.<\/p>\n
